Our Story
TabTap started at a dinner table in San Francisco — six people, one check, and twenty minutes of awkward math. We knew there had to be a better way.
How It Started
In 2024, our co-founders Jordan and Maya were at a birthday dinner with eight friends. The food was great. The check was a disaster. Someone had the salmon, someone else had two drinks, the birthday person wasn't paying — and nobody could agree on the tip.
They spent the next six months building the app they wished existed. TabTap was born from that frustration — and from the belief that technology should make everyday moments easier, not harder.
Today, we're a team of eight based in San Francisco, backed by people who believe that the best products solve real problems for real people.
